User Info: DillMan DillMan 4 years ago 1 I have been using quickcast for quite a while now abilities activate when you press and recently tried smartcast edited - quickcast with range indicators abilities activate when you release.

I found that I like the accuracy that I have better with on release, easier to line up abilities, but I find that I am waayyyy slower with all my abilities now. Like I have to think about pressing, holding, then releasing most abilities now. And probably even worse, since I spam right click to adjust my positioning all the time I have had major issues where I should have used abilities and then they just get canceled because I moved instead.

Big team fights with a lot of abilities going off or not going off in my case has been pretty bad in a few games. I realize it takes a while to get used to new things, but do most people prefer on release vs on press in general? If you don't need range indicators then quickcast should be fine right? Or would people suggest I just tough it out and suck for a bit while I adapt to on release?
