Step 3. Farm your Primal Water and Primal Air. Now, you can of course, buy these from AH as well. For example, a Primal Air can go up to g each, and a Primal Water, up to g. So where to farm these? One of the best spots where you can farm Primal Air and Water is at the Throne of Elements 62,20 , in northern Nagrand.
Anyway, for fishing Motes of Water in Nagrand, you can find a full guide, here. Step 4. Comment by dont get tricked into buying this recipe off the AH for more than you can buy it for from "Skreah" in shat, ive seen the recipe for as much as 30g on the AH and its only 8 from the vendor, beware.
Comment by Ahrendel I'm getting my main character to being able to proc with this stuff. On my realm, I supply my own mats to the alchemist that do it for me. I generally tip 15g for their cool down, and more per primal might if it procs. Comment by I have alchemy ATM and i've gone to talk to the alchemist in shat many times and i have yet to see this in his stuff for sale..
Comment by Allakhazam As the title says, at standard pricing the recipe is 8g and seems to be pretty common vendor item. At least in Shattrath City.
It's a nice recipe, and down the road will be the next Arcanite money maker for alch's. Look at all the recipes that require Primal Might. Even if not quite at yet, might not be a bad idea to pick it up and bank it before others start buying it up to resell.
I noticed one on our AH for 50g already. On the other hand all three times I've checked the vendor the recipe was there. Comment by Allakhazam This is a bought recipe from both the vendor listed, and a similar vendor in Silvermoon. Comment by Allakhazam What is the common charge for performing this service? On my service, it was gold for arcanite, I would think this would be higher.
Comment by Allakhazam Does this have a Cooldown? Comment by Allakhazam Sorry for posting this late since i registered minutes ago JesterGirl, all i have to say to you is respect.
I haven't laughed like this in quite a while Jortho the two-star retard is simply too damn funny. JesterGirl you rule the school!
Never get tired of dough-heads getting taken down a notch. From the Wet West Coast of Canada! PS thanks for the info - I was trying to figure out why Primal Might costs so much, now i know why.
PPS Just a thought why does refined deep rock salt have a three day cooldown vs one for Primal Might? Comment by Thottbot If people are really too lazy to go on the internet to find out where it is.. There paying you for the information that u know where the item is. Comment by Thottbot Bliss says it not up to the sellers of items, its up to the players to be informed consumers when purchaseing items --hummmm kinda like the real world isnt that odd.
Comment by Thottbot I'd say, while it's up to the buyer to make the ultimate decision, that is no justification for over-charging for an item or trying to rip people off. One being true does not necessitate the other being false. Comment by Allakhazam I am a master transmuter and have not had one extra Primal Might in 17 attempts.
Anyone else out there can beat this or am I just cursed? Comment by Allakhazam Dno what all complain about hard maths to make this. You can get maths for like 2h farming.
I just got today 10 primal water for my shadoweave shoulders in like 3h or less. Comment by Allakhazam unfortunately the AH prices listed here are bull on the nathrezim server. Comment by Allakhazam I always keep one in the bank in case somebody is looking for a transmute.
First of all it removes the trust element, you exchange the final product against the mats, not risk for the parties involved. Second if you are a transmute master, it's clear that when the guy sees "XXX creates: x3" there's going to be an argument.
At least most of the time. By giving them the final product straight away, you can then do the transmute later and keep the extras. Finally the point is not to sell the final product on AH if you are a master. The point is to offer it to others against the mats most ppl are going to farm the mats and not buy them from AH, and are in a hurry so don't want to put all 5 primals for sale, with AH cuts and all, and buy a primal might from AH. After a while you will have a lot of primals sitting around Comment by Allakhazam Hehe, now that I know a little more about the transmutes, I'll be sure to keep an eye on my guild alchy.
If anything, I know where he greenspeaks. Comment by Allakhazam I can transmute im on Fenris alliance name : jenifer. This is my 1st proc after a solid week of trying. I am very happy. It does happen. It will happen for you, too. Comment by Allakhazam What the hell? Can someone explain me why sth with 1 day cooldown is cheaper than the cost of the mats?
Are all the transmuters idiots to put their creation at such a low price? It is the same with other transmutes and potions. What's wrong with alchemy? Btw i am elixir master and it is very profitable since i can make flask of distilled wisdom.
Comment by Thottbot What do you think a fair transmute price for this is? If we go back to the transmute price of Arcanite, it costs 5g before expansion. But Arcanite before expansion costs 30g. Or do you think we need to add in more variables to this equation? Comment by Thottbot wtf is wrong with us alchemist, why do we charge sutch low transmute prices, do we forget what other tradeskills charge other ppl, ever bought a crusader whit your own mats, how the hell do we get our costs back if keep charging insane low prices for our transmutates, just take a look at what they need the stuff the get for it.
Comment by Thottbot Yes, you can find an alchemy lab in Shattrath, Lower city. Comment by Thottbot As soon as I finish transmuting my last primal might, I don't intend on charging anything for transmutes. I'm specializing in transmutation Which means I can use other people to supply me with the raw materials and reap the excess for pure profit. As long as they get what they're expecting, then it's a win-win situation for all. Reason I'm doing that is the elementals r heavily farmed on my server and I rely on my transmutation proc.
Comment by Thottbot its not like transmution is the only thing alchemists can make a profit from you can make pots and flasks and even just farm herbs and sell them. Comment by Thottbot Yes, all transmutes share the same cooldown. Comment by Thottbot OK, I'm gonna blow the whistle on this entire transmute spec thing that everyone is goin on about.
Here's the thing if you look at the average price on the AH for the mats for this, it doesnt equate. Rather than you spending your precious time farming, let the alchemists go out and get their own materials. I know, I know Comment by Thottbot for my server we charge 5g for transmute service and these sell for about 80g each. The primals are all g each except for mana which is 17g. I didn't even get to fire though. The dust ones east nagrad dropped a lot more than the lightning ones.
Sadly, there are not clusters of these guys. It takes a long time to farm for this since the mats are scattered all over outlands, although, there is a place u can fly to in nagrad that has all of them i hear. Well when u do it procs and u get 4 instead of just one u have just made 3 extra primal mights with someone else's mats, and they pay u 5g for the first one. You can sell these for a total of g even though u did no work to try and get them.
There are a lot of jerks and whiny people out there and they might argue that those extra primal mights belong to them since it shows what party members have made. It was an extremely contested area so you might want to stay near others of your faction or get a group. They enemies are very strong stamina wise and their elemental melee attacks go straight through armor but they dropped motes about 3x as fast as the others earth, fire, water, air wow sorry this is so long.
Comment by Thottbot I always keep one in my bag, so it doesn't matter if they're in group or not cos i won't be doin the transmute in front of them. Straight trade mats for product. If they complain i'd just tell them it's on cooldown which would probably be true anyway. Anyone who expects the extras too is just a muppet, more than happy to let them take their business elswhere.
Comment by Thottbot you sir.. Comment by Thottbot Lot of frightful discussion here. Yes, all professions have it tough and spent a lot of time and money to get to I can't count how many times I'd wished I could have made a cool leather jacket for my alchemist rogue.
All professions have a right to charge for their goods AND services. No service should be "Free with your mats". Especially not a service that is on a 23 hour cooldown. And us alchemists kind of get the short end of the stick. Someone said above that Blacksmiths are guild vending machines -- but at least they aren't expected to provide the mats and the service for free. If you're an alchemist in your guild, you're pretty much expected to pass around potions for guild raids, and no one is handing you stacks of Netherbloom in exchange for your Super Mana Potions.
Comment by Thottbot The economic talk on this page is way too close to Real Life for me. Comment by Thottbot this amazing thing happend 10 mins ago.. Comment by Thottbot ON a related issue; Have any other xmute-spec alchemists noticed a significant decline in procs over the last month or so? I have been xmuting for randoms perhaps once every other day over the last month, without a single proc. I remember when i first took up xmute spec and the procs were Much more frequent and yes, i even got a 5'er once.
Considering elixir creation has no cooldown either So here is the question: has the proc rate on an already limited-production speciality been nerfed? I know procs are "completely random", yes.
But lately it is getting beyond the realm of credulity tbh. Comment by Thottbot Everyone who is saying you will make money over time, no matter what your charge fee is, please remember that in the same ammount of time you spend advertising for your proffession you could make an easy g off vendor trash in outlands.
